Hello, I'm Mark, a brand and digital designer. I believe in the utility and usability of humane design. I'm skeptical about obtrusive and manipulative design and aim to have a positive impact on how we use technology in our lives.

My most recent work was as Lead UX Designer for the new V&A Museum Shop due to go live early 2021.

Previously I have owned and directed two creative agencies. Retrofuzz, where I co-directed agency growth to focus on e-commerce design for brands including Adidas, Eastpak, Lee Jeans and Wrangler. And Eskimo Creative (2008-13), focused on graphic design, branding and marketing events for clients including, Adidas, Bench, Computer Arts Magazine and GF Smith.

Preceding agency life I enjoyed a decade in design, marketing and events in the snow, skate and surf industries for brands including Etnies, Emerica, ThirtyTwo's, A-Snowboards, Dragon and Sessions.

Away from design I'm dedicated to raising my children, usually heading to the mountains, and often playing guitar. I care about our environment and animal welfare donating 1% of my income to non-profits in support of conservation and environmental protection via onepercentfortheplanet.org.

I'm based in Manchester, UK and available freelance or contract.
